Honestly, I wanted to expand this scene a bit, and make it creepy but I had to go on with the story :-/ 
The word "nekyomanty" isn't a typo, but a form of necromancy.
In other words: NECROMANCY means to summon a spirit or resurrecting the dead body for divination, NEKYOMANCY means to resurrect a dead body, bring it to life and get control over it. 
This is a kind of spell used in voodoo for creating a zombie
